They both join from Baker McKenzie in Singapore. Kwan rejoins A&O, having worked at the firm previously from 2009 to 2017. He specialises in M&A, capital markets transactions, funds and general corporate matters under Singapore law. Zhao brings more than 15 years of experience advising private equity firms, institutional investors and major corporations on complex cross-border transactions, including control deals and leveraged buyouts, M&A, growth capital investments, spin-offs and distressed M&A transactions. She primarily represents private equity funds on investments and acquisitions in China and the rest of Asia.
