Jones Day has appointed Gene Buttrill as a capital markets practice partner. Formerly a partner with Proskauer Rose, he will be based in the firm’s Hong Kong office as a foreign registered lawyer. Buttrill has over 20 years experience in China and advises issuers and underwriters throughout Asia on a broad range of corporate finance transactions, with a focus on public offerings in Hong Kong and the US by PRC companies. He also advises on public and private company mergers and acquisitions, US corporate governance and reporting requirements, going private transactions and US SEC investigations. |
