Baker & McKenzie has appointed Jeremy White as a new partner in the firm’s Tokyo office as of 24 October 2013. White, a registered foreign lawyer, will be working as a member of the corporate/M&A practice group and will be involved mainly with cross-border commercial corporate and M&A matters. He previously worked for a major law firm in London and moved to their Tokyo office in August 2007 to focus on outbound transactions for Japanese conglomerates, as well as inbound work for major global corporations. White is experienced in multi-jurisdictional M&A matters, as well as private equity transactions, joint ventures and general corporate work. He has been a secondee at an international investment bank and a Japanese private equity house. |
