| DLA Piper has appointed Bryan Pointon and David Ryan as partners. They will be based in the firm’s corporate practice in Sydney. Prior to joining the firm, Pointon was a partner at Malleson Stephen Jaques and Gilbert + Tobin for over 15 years. He was previously admitted to practice in the US and was an attorney at Latham & Watkins in New York. Separately, Ryan is a recognised specialist in public company M&A, equity capital markets transactions and corporate governance. He has specific expertise in the energy and resources industry, having acted on some of the most significant deals in that sector in recent times. Ryan also acts for a number of clients in the engineering and infrastructure, technology and health industries. |
