HHP Law Firm, the Indonesia member firm of Baker McKenzie, has added leading real estate and M&A lawyer Bima Sarumpaet as a partner on January 2, 2025, further bolstering the firm’s real estate and M&A/transactional capabilities. Sarumpaet brings almost 20 years of experience advising both international and domestic clients on high-profile M&A, complex joint ventures, structured foreign direct investments and real estate transactions. His expertise covers the full spectrum of industrial, commercial and residential property sectors, including townships, logistics, data centers, anchor leases and the hotel industry. Sarumpaet has a proven track record of supporting businesses throughout the entire life cycle of real estate transactions, from investment structuring and land acquisition, to company setup, construction work, property management and sale/lease. He began his career and spent 17 years in HHP Law Firm, which he rejoined from MHMS Advocates where he was a partner. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Atma Jaya Catholic University, South Jakarta, and is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI).
