Covenant Chambers has added Ng Pei Tong as Director, effective January 16, 2025. Ng joins the firm after leaving Drew & Napier as a Director, Corporate Finance. He honed his expertise in corporate finance and corporate and commercial transaction in Singapore and regionally over the past decade in two of the “Big Four” firms and the Singapore formal law alliance partner of a global law firm. He specialises in listings, equity and debt issues, reverse takeovers, M&A, joint ventures, and private equity and venture capital investments. Ng’s practice areas include advising Singapore-listed companies on their continuing listing obligations and corporate actions, such as dual listings, acquisitions and disposals, share schemes and buybacks, interested person transactions, and corporate restructuring exercises. He also regularly advises on employment, data protection and other regulatory compliance matters. Prior to joining the legal industry, Ng read Mathematics under a Public Service Commission scholarship, and was a gifted education teacher teaching Mathematics in a top girls’ school in Singapore. He is effectively bilingual in English and Chinese.
