In particular, the percentage of foreign ownership and the equity of a Myanmar company will be provided in the rules to the Foreign Investment Law. These rules have not yet been issued.

Myanmar is in a period of rapid legislative change. Practically all laws are subject to modification. In particular, tax, labour and social laws are being changed.
