Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP (Orrick) has announced that it will form an alliance with LVN & Associates (www.lvnlaw.com), a newly established law firm based in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The international law firm says its association with LVN & Associates will provide clients with integrated international and Vietnam law services, combining Orrick’s international practice with “high quality Vietnam legal advice across a range of major areas, including cross-border investment, energy, infrastructure, finance and capital markets.”
Orrick’s Senior Partner in Asia, Christopher Stephens, said: “Vietnam is the most dynamic emerging market in Southeast Asia. We have been involved in Vietnam-related work since the late 1990s. Recently, our clients have come to include investors from China, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan and elsewhere in Asia, as well as the traditional US and European multinationals and institutions. Our association with LVN & Associates is a natural extension of our strategy to better position our practices for the increasing levels of inter-regional investment flows within Asia.”
With a population of nearly 90 million and annual growth targeted at eight per cent, Vietnam is among the fastest growing economies in Southeast Asia.
