Navigant Consulting, an organisation which provides specialised financial consulting services including forensic accounting and investigations, has purchased New York-based Daylight Forensic & Advisory, a financial consulting and investigative firm, to help bolster its services in practices like fraud risk management and money-laundering prevention. The acquisition, which was finalised two weeks ago with immediate effect, adds more than sixty-five professionals globally to Navigant’s forensic investigative team. Navigant, which is active in Asia, stands to benefit from the fact that more than fifty of the professionals employed by Daylight specialise in FCPA and AML investigations. Navigant has agreed to pay up to US$40 million in cash for Daylight under the terms of the acquisition agreement.
