Completing their trinity in China, Clyde & Co opened an office in Beijing on 7 May 2013. With long-standing footholds in Shanghai and Hong Kong, the firm is looking to cement its strengths in the energy sector with particular focus on the mining, oil and gas and LNG areas of practice. Partner Lynia Lau (pictured), who will head up the office, commented that “ as the need for Chinese companies to secure supplies of commodities continues, we will be looking to make further connections between our international network in the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Australia and clients who we know have an active interest in these resource rich geographies.”
