Corporate counsel are invited to take part in a ground-breaking global study on international arbitration by completing the questionnaire for the 2010 International Arbitration Survey.

Conducted by the School of International Arbitration at Queen Mary University of London and sponsored by White & Case LLP, the Survey will gather information on the factors that drive corporate decisions as to the key aspects of an international arbitration. The survey will be the largest and most in-depth study of its kind.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the debate on international arbitration and contribute to a study of international significance. Respondents will join the numerous other corporate counsel from leading companies who have already responded to the questionnaire.

The questionnaire takes approximately 20-25 minutes to complete and is available at http://survey.opinio.net/s?s=3251 (password: choice) and in PDF format at http://www.arbitrationonline.org/survey. The closing date for responses is 31 May 2010.

The questionnaire will be followed by individual interviews with corporate counsel. Respondents are requested to indicate whether they would be willing to be interviewed.

Questionnaire responses will be held confidentially by the School of International Arbitration and used only for the preparation of the academic project report and any subsequent surveys. Respondents are free to decline to answer any part of the questionnaire. The names of respondents and their organisations will not appear in the project outputs. Questionnaire respondents will receive a copy of the final project report. Any queries or responses can be directed to Ms Penny Martin, White & Case Research Fellow in International Arbitration, by email p.martin@qmul.ac.uk or telephone +44 207 882 8072.
