The In-House Community’s search for the top In-House Legal Team and Counsel has got off to a flying start.Close to forty GC’s and senior in-house counsel have already submitted their credentials for the Inaugural In-House Community Counsels of the Year awards. These include counsel from household names in the automotive, electronic, hotel & hospitality, eCommerce, electronic goods, financial services, insurance, oil & gas and pharmaceutical industries. As well as major international companies, we are delighted to see submissions from companies based in China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates.

“We are slightly in awe at the level of response from top In-House teams”, shared In-House Community Founder, Tim Gilkison. “The search continues, so counsel can still contact me directly to recommend an in-house team and/or team leader, or submit their team’s credentials via our nomination form” (see below).

Our panel of judges includes Stephen Maloy, former General Counsel and senior counsel at GE Asia Pacific; Sue Lynn Koo, former Head of Legal, Compliance for DBS Group and General Counsel for Korea Exchange Bank; David Miles, former Partner, Executive member and Chairman of Asia for Latham & Watkins; and Kirsty Dougan, Head of Asia for Axiom – the world’s leading provider of legal advisory services.
