Adaptive responds to the shifting legal landscape, working with technically excellent, first-rate lawyers and legal professionals who are available to work on defined contract assignments and partnering them with our firm’s clients.  Over the last five years, we have witnessed high levels of demand and our desire to expand our team and service globally reflects this.

Simmons Adaptive sits within Simmons & Simmons Solutions Hong Kong Limited, a company owned by Simmons & Simmons LLP, which uses creative and modern legal skills to solve complex client problems. Simmons & Simmons Solutions has been the first to do some of the most exciting projects in our industry, like creating AI lawyers or bringing our eDiscovery service in-house. We listen, we learn, we progress. By stepping outside of the traditional legal approach, we open up new possibilities for our clients, every single day.

And we’ve created navigator: the first subscription service that makes complex regulation easy.

Adaptive provides our clients the flexibility to resource large-scale projects or defined contract assignments with high-quality lawyers and legal support professionals on a contract basis.

To ensure only the highest quality consultants are onboarded to Adaptive, all individuals are pre-screened by Adaptive through a rigorous onboarding and interview process to reflect the high quality you would expect of Simmons & Simmons.

Adaptive can source consultants for project work, BAU roles and specific non-legal roles, such as project managers, compliance professionals and company secretaries.

Consultant

The Adaptive team is made up of highly-experienced recruitment and HR professionals with extensive experience in legal resourcing and talent management. ​ Simmons Adaptive provides consultants with the ability to choose where, when and  how they wish to work. Working in this way allows consultants different ways of working without compromising on their career development, ambition or work fulfilment.

At Simmons & Simmons we have a world class client base and cover many different resourcing requirements, ranging from parental leave or sabbaticals, to staffing large scale regulatory change projects.

Simmons Adaptive remains the only partner-led flexible resourcing solution and unique in its service offering. All consultants are viewed as an extension of our firm, meaning that whilst on assignment they will be supported by a sponsoring partner, a client team, and the Simmons Adaptive team. They will have regular calls and will have access to the firm’s knowhow, training and resources.

Additionally, Adaptive run regular networking and knowledge events, which are aimed at creating a community within our legal consulting business and for consultants to build their own networks and share know-how. Topics are based on specific industry matters, general learning sessions, as well as mental health and wellbeing.

Further, Adaptive has developed a bespoke innovative IT solution, which has allowed us to improve efficiency of running the service. Once onboarded to Adaptive, consultants are invited to join our Adaptive Hub and are given 1:1 training with a member of the Adaptive team.
