Financial Markets Group partner Eva Chan was appointed as head of the Hong Kong office of Simmons & Simmons, effective January 1, 2022.

She joined the firm in 2005, and has more than 18 years’ experience in advising global asset managers and financial institutions on a wide range of investment funds related matters. She is a member of the firm’s Global Partnership Appraisal Committee and various steering groups. From 2016 to 2021, she was also a co-partner of graduation recruitment of the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Established in 1979, the Simmons Hong Kong office is the first and largest Simmons office established in Asia, making Simmons one of the biggest and best-established international law firms in Hong Kong. Simmons Hong Kong office offers a full range of legal services, from dispute resolution and corporate and M&A, to employment and financial markets work.
