| Jones Day has appointed Matthew Skinner as partner in the global disputes practice of the firm’s Singapore Office. Skinner practiced in London, Sydney and Singapore for almost 20 years. He has extensive experience in court and arbitration tribunals (SIAC, LMAA, ICC and CAS) in addition to mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. His broad contentious practice has particular emphasis on international arbitration, contractual disputes and regulatory investigations. Skinner acts for clients across a range of industries, including energy and resources, financial institutions and manufacturing. Prior to joining the firm, he headed up the Southeast Asian dispute resolution practice for an international firm.
Jones Day has also appointed Darren Murphy as partner in the energy group of the firm’s Singapore office. Murphy has almost 20 years experience from Australia, Singapore and the US. He has extensive experience advising on M&As, joint ventures and development of projects throughout the Asian region, including in Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Mongolia, Thailand, PNG, Cambodia and Australia. |
