Stephenson Harwood has strengthened its Hong Kong team with the rejoining of Paul Westover as a partner in its corporate department. Westover, who was previously a partner at Tanner De Witt, has wide-ranging experience in corporate and commercial work including M&A, regulatory advice, private equity, hedge fund formations, employment and China FDI.
Ogier has fortified its litigation practice with the appointment of Ray Ng as a senior member of its litigation team in the British Virgin Islands. A Barrister for over twenty years, Ng joins the firm from one of London’s leading civil sets, Crown Office Chambers, where he practised for the last 12 years. His appointment provides the firm with two of the most senior and experienced corporate and commercial advocates within the jurisdiction. FoxMandal Little has engaged British Labour politician and Member of Parliament Nigel Keith Anthony Standish Vaz as consultant to enhance and promote the firm’s London office. Vaz has headed the Home Affairs Select Committee since July 2007. He has also worked as a solicitor for a number of years including roles with Richmond Council (1982), as senior solicitor for the London Borough of Islington (1982-1985), and as solicitor at Highfields and Belgrave Law Centre in Leicester (1985-1987). |
