| Mallesons Stephen Jaques has appointed Martyn Huckerby as competition partner in its Shanghai office. He has extensive experience in competition and telecommunications law and has advised corporations, private equity firms and financial institutions throughout Australia, Europe and North Asia. Huckerby joins from Clifford Chance, where he has been involved in the development of the China competition group and advising clients on the recently introduced Anti-Monopoly Law, as well as EU competition laws.
Matthew Wong has joined Bird & Bird from the Hong Kong office of K&L Gates. Wong specialises in private equity, M&A and corporate finance as well as cross-border work and has extensive experience in general company law and securities compliance issues. He also has experience in advising investment funds and managers on Hong Kong securities regulatory matters. |
