Mark Goodrich joins White & Case as a lateral partner from another leading international firm. Prior to joining White & Case, Goodrich worked in both Tokyo and London. His practice focuses on the development, construction and financing of energy and other infrastructure projects. He has wide-ranging experience, with particular expertise in the energy, power, petrochemical and telecoms sectors. Goodrich has drafted and negotiated all major types of project contracts, including construction contracts, offtake contracts and PPAs, corporate and finance documentation. He has acted for sponsors, lenders and EPC contractors and was also seconded to a leading Japanese trading company for two years, advising them on projects worldwide. Recently, he has been increasingly involved in the acquisition of existing energy and telecoms assets, both on an individual project basis and in relation to major businesses, and often involving the use of acquisition finance. Goodrich is registered as a Foreign Attorney in Japan (Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi) as well as England and Wales; he speaks Japanese. |
