Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP has appointed N David Lin (previously with O’Melveny) as a partner to its Hong Kong corporate practice, where he will focus on capital markets and private equity transactions. Lin represents issuers and investment banks in debt and equity securities offerings, including registered initial IPOs on NASDAQ and NYSE, and Rule 144A/Regulation S transactions. He also represents private equity and venture capital funds and financial institutions investing in China-based companies in the industries of technology and telecom, media and entertainment, shipping and supply-chain management, retail, real estate, mining and resources, and oil and gas; and Chinese companies in respect of M&A transactions, pre-IPO debt and equity financings, and general corporate matters.
