Morrison & Foerster has further strengthened its cross-border corporate capabilities with the addition of Jeremy White as a partner in the corporate department in Tokyo. White brings more than 20 years of experience in cross-border M&A, carve-outs and joint ventures. He has a particular emphasis on advising clients in the manufacturing and transportation industry, as well as the healthcare and technology sectors. White’s notable matters include representing a Japanese listed tech company on more than 10 separate transactions across the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Europe; a Japanese listed trading house with more than 15 transactions across the Americas, Asia and Europe; a global listed pharmaceutical company with its joint venture formation, sale and licensing matters; a Japanese beverage producer on more than 10 transactions across the globe; and a global bank with its joint venture formation and later disposal. He holds a BA in Modern History from Oxford University, and earned his LPC from the College of Law. He is admitted to practice in England & Wales, and is a registered foreign lawyer in Japan.
Trilegal has added Nitesh Jain as a partner in its dispute resolution practice. Jain specialises in corporate commercial disputes, international and domestic commercial arbitrations and white-collar crimes. He advises and practices across diverse dispute resolution forums. Jain has significant experience in working both in Mumbai and New Delhi, and has represented large conglomerates, private equity funds, foreign investors, Indian and multinational corporations and other clients on a wide range of dispute resolution matters. He has been with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas as a partner in their Mumbai office. He has completed his masters from London School of Economics in 2009 and graduated from Symbiosis Law School Pune in 2007.
