The Sino-Global Legal Alliance (SGLA) is set to expand with the addition of the Tahota Law Firm in July. The SGLA launched last year as an alliance between Lovells and nine firms across China’s key economic regions. The network now combines the experience and resources of 10 leading firms, located in the cities which possess the highest GDP figures across China. Each major economic zone is represented in the alliance, providing access to more than 1,000 domestic and international lawyers throughout the nation’s key cities and regions.

Tahota Law Firm is based in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, which provides a gateway to the West of China. Chengdu is one of the most important cities in Western China and has attracted major international financial institutions, including Citigroup, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank, United Overseas Bank (Singapore), Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (Singapore), ABN AMRO, Bank of East Asia and BNP Paribas.
